Les Paul is an influence to every music creator. Widely considered the father of Music Technology, Paul was the first to discover multi-tracking and delay effects. Paul revolutionized music with this discovery, as prior to this, artists had to record everything they wanted on a track in just one take. For his efforts and effect on music, he is in 5 Halls of Fame and is one of the most respected men in the history of music. Music Tech would not be possible without the contributions of Les Paul.
Since I started listening to hip-hop music approximately 5 years ago, Travis Scott has always been one of my favorites. His beats have a certain type of energy that I try to replicate in the tracks that I make. As one of the biggest names in hip-hop, many were excited when he released ASTROWORLD, his 3rd album, which dropped on my 14th birthday. Some of my favorites on it include YOSEMITE, BUTTERFLY EFFECT, and the record breaking SICKO MODE. He, along with other artists of the genre, influence the way that I make music.
Queen is arguably one of the greatest bands of all time. Because of Freddie Mercury's vocal range, Queen ruled the 1970's and 1980's. The first time I heard Bohemian Rhapsody, I was hooked on Queen and wanted to listen to more. I ended up primarily listening to Queen for about 2 months. Bohemian Rhapsody is my favorite Queen song, but others include Don't Stop Me Now, Somebody To Love, Under Pressure, and We Are the Champions. Whenever I try to find a rock sound in one of my tracks, I try to find one that reminds me of Queen.
